Where We Slept is our hotel roundup from our time on the road. We hope it helps budget travelers see how far their dollar can go--even though sometimes, it's not far enough!
Nothing in Kratie looked that appealing, so we just booked ourselves in to the first decent place we found, rented a motorbike, and got on our merry way.
We stayed at Heng Heng II right on the water. It's two doors down from Heng Heng and supposedly a bit nicer, though I'm not sure the difference would have been noticeable.
It was $10 a night for a fan room with a view. There are cheaper places in town, but they looked sort of gross. There are also some places around $25/night that look far nicer.
