Review of New Toun Sour Hotel in Pursat, Cambodia

By

Where We Slept is our hotel roundup from our time on the road. We hope it helps budget travelers see how far their dollar can go--even though sometimes, it's not far enough!

We stayed in a nice room at New Toun Sour Hotel for $15. There was nothing wrong with the room and the bed was humongous, with a beautiful hand carved frame. The problem is that the room was the only thing the hotel could offer as the restaurant sucked. (In reality, this town sort of sucked.)

In hindsight, it would have been easier to stay at Phnom Pech Hotel. They charged the same rate, but we ended up eating at their restaurant several times because it seemed cleaner. Again, not saying much.

yet another phone shop, and a lady with lots of fruits and veggies. for sale?
